I’m grinning as I read the first reviews. It’s so heartening to know that what you’ve created resonates with a reader. Thank you, Della B.!
I’m delighted to let you know that my new novel is now available exclusively from Bold Strokes Books!
The setting is near and dear to my heart: the Cahaba River, one of the most biodiverse rivers in America. The river and its special ecology grounds a story that will take you on an adventure with artist-naturalist Jordan Burroughs, who, while waiting for endangered Cahaba lilies to bloom, finds romance with English professor Maddie Grendel, is befriended by a supernatural being, and is swept into a situation as perilous as the swift currents of the river.
I hope you’ll enjoy this book. Let me know!
And please consider leaving a review on your preferred platform. Aside from purchasing a book (especially directly from the publisher), it’s one of the most supportive things you can do for an author.

Growing up, the public library was one of my favorite places to go. As Fran Leibowitz has said, reading shouldn’t be a mirror, it should be a door. My local public library was a doorway that opened the world to me–it encouraged my curiosity, wonder, and imagination.
I’m both honored and excited to participate in Read Out 2021: A Festival of Lesbian Literature hosted by the LGBTQ Resource Center at the Gulfport Library in Gulfport, Florida. Over 80 authors are participating in the hybrid event that includes live and pre-recorded sessions with author readings, spoken word artists, comics, and entertainment between sessions.
I’ll be reading from my novel Aspen in Moonlight in the Pearls: Mystery & Fantasy session on Saturday, February 26, at 12 pm CST / 1 pm EST. There will be other great writers reading, including my friend and fellow author, Karen F. Williams. It’s going to be fun, I hope you’ll join us!
Click Here to register. Did I mention that it’s free? Yeah, it’s FREE! and open to an international audience.
